I have two charged off accounts at two different banks that have not been paid. An organization wants me to become a signer on a business account at a different bank at which I also had an account, but paid that balance. Will there be a problem with me just being a signer? Do they have to run my credit or ChexSystems?

Whether or not the bank with the organization's account runs a ChexSystems or credit report will depend on its policies and whether or not it obtains permission from you to do so. Without your permission, it should not do so. The bank could also use any of its in-house experience with you in its decision to allow or not allow you as a signer on the organization's account.
