Endorsing an Estate Check

I have an insurance check payable to the estate of (my mother), and my name, and my mortgage company. Do I have to endorse this check twice (as estate of xxx, me as executor, and then my endorsement again)?

Each payee must endorse the check if the payees are connected using the word "and" or an ampersand (as you have indicated). You, as legal representative of the estate, will endorse "Estate of XXXXXX, by [your signature], Executor" and will endorse separately as an individual.
