My father passed away in January, 2009. He had his bank accounts with his common law wife here in Texas. We have proved, using two handwriting experts, that she forged his Will and we are trying to get copies of his signature cards and statements from the banks. We are still waiting for the temporary administration to go to court. Is there another way to get this information without the temporary administration paper?
The bank will have to follow privacy laws. Just as we can't go and ask for your documents from the bank, you can't request your father's. The court's authority would be needed.
