Paying off Parent's Debts

My mother died in May with a loan at a bank where she did not have a checking or savings account. She had no estate, money, or inheritance. Am I responsible to pay off this loan that only has her name on it?

Your mom's estate would have the responsibility for that. If the estate had no funds, you are not responsible just because you are her son.
