The Royal Mint issued four versions of the Diana commemorative coin. Three of the stampings are collector's versions in base metal, silver and gold, and one version was issued into general circulation. Your bank is not likely to credit you for more than the £5 face value regardless of which coin you hold, so if you have one of the collector's versions of the coin, it may be wise to seek a better price at a hobby or numismatic shop or from a collector, and deposit whatever you are able to get from that effort.
