I've read a lot recently about the USA Patriot Act but no where does it mention if the Act will at some point "expire" or at least require the US Congress to review its actual value. Can anyone out there answer?

Section 224 of the Act sunsets certain sections of Title II of the Act as of 12/31/2005.

A sunset provision means that if Congress doesn't affirmatively renew the section so affected, it expires as of the sunset date. So, those sections with sunset dates in section 224 would have to be reenacted at that time.
