Lots of our banker users have expressed a desire for us to create a special forum where individuals and businesses can pose questions.

Our intent in expressing this forum is to give bankers and customers an opportunity to interact and bolster mutual understanding.

Please note that the responses do not constitute legal advice and may be affected by variances in state law or by facts that are not readily apparent in the posts.

You mean, "...her new forum", on loan to the world at large.

Because she is "The Creator".

CubDave, if I remember correctly, you beat me to it when I created the WaterCooler. I felt like I was racing against time with this one -- or racing against you and other quick as lightning posters. It was so gratifying.

I was kinda hoping you wouldn't remember that - I felt so guilty!

Brilliant idea!now if we could get one where law enforcement & bankers interact, it would be heaven!

We already do that, just not online. In fact we just won an Illinois award for that - security officers of multiple banks meet regularly with law enforcement here at our bank.

Fraud Net is a pretty close one. I believe it started in Florida and other states are now signing up. Your state association should have all the info.

Well that's definitely true, but since she "created" the forum, I did mean "The Creator".

Here I go, climbing on my soap-box again.

While I find frivolity, especially at the water-cooler, enjoyable, let's remember that this forum is for non-bankers to ask questions of us. Here, I think we need to keep our responses "on the straight and narrow".

Ok, I'll climb down for now.

In agreement, Al. I'll keep an eye on the thread you're undoubtedly referring to, and exercise the scissors if it continues to wander any further.
