Hi. I had a check deposited for about $7000 and because of the size of the check my account was frozen. I've talked to the bank and they said it was an error on their part. They said it would be unfrozen on a certain day and when that day came it would still be frozen. I finally got it in writing when the day would be and then it was still frozen. This has been happening for over a month now. What can I do to get them to unfreeze my account? What are my options?

We can't imagine why a $7,000 check would be on hold for over a month. There is a communication problem somewhere. By this time your check should have cleared, or not. In any case your entire account shouldn't be frozen, assuming this isn't the only funds in it.
