Years ago I worked as a Forgery/Fraud Investigator for a bank in Louisiana - but I'm sure things have changed.
I agree w/ the person who said that there isn't enough information to say that the bank is liable. I know what we would have done was check the time frame. If it was more than a month after the statement was received, the bank would not have reimbursed the company for those checks.
