On May 13,2010 my 20 year old and 17 year old son were killed in an auto accident. We live in a small community and they rallied around us and paid for all funeral expences and they continued to be donations coming in. (My 20 year old son let behind a 3 year old son) In complete despair I asked an old friend that is a president at a local bank if he would set up an account for this money to be deposited till I could wrap my mind around everything. He agreed. We stayed in constant contact and now I find out that an account was never set up and numerous deposits aren't showing and many checks I am being told were never run at all. He was keeping monies in his desk and now that I have asked for the moneies he has brought in a lawyer that i had spoken with about setting up a trust for my grandson but nothing was ever put on paper or drawn up. How do i stop the runaround and found all the missing funds, checks andfix this horrible tragic mess. Thank YOU

This is a tragic situation. I recommend you get an attorney. Some of your actions will depend on the agreement, oral or written terms, was it in his capacity as an old friend or as a banker, etc.
