Is it legal for my banker to tell a person who is not on my account that someone else made a deposit into my account?

We don't know the circumstances here, but generally a bank shouldn't even reveal that a person has an account without legal justification.
If you have an issue with this, we recommend first talking to your bank, and then your banks regulator.
