Dear sir,

I wish to inform you that I want to open a minor account (under minor guardianship father ) with my wife.

I enquire this with some banks, they inform me that minor account will be opened by his natural guardian i.e.father and the father
will be second joint account holder not any other person. If minor account will be opened by his mother in absence/consent of father
then mother name may be added as second joint account holder.

Now kindly guide me that I can open a Savings Bank Account in the name of my minor son (under my guardianship/signature) with
my wife (second joint account holder).

warm regards

neeraj jha

Different US states have different laws, but generally a UTMA account (Uniform Transfer to Minors Act) allows the child and one other person.
