What if like GuitarDude suggests, opening a separate account specifically for incoming wires and then once the money is there, transfer it to a different account so that there is a $0 balance and no money for a Nigerian scam artist to get?
Quote: BC have you tried to use Seller Protection? It's worth far less than it costs.
As far as I know, there are no direct costs associated with PayPal seller protection. You simply restrict your payment acceptance to those buyers that have a confirmed address in their account, and ship via one of PayPal's approved methods. If they buyer attempts a charge-back, as long as you (the seller) can provide the package tracking number to PayPal, the charge-back can not happen. I beleive this it be a fantastic service which has saved me from charge-backs two times. PayPal does not offer seller protection if the buyer is from outside the US as far as I know.
I like the idea of a separate account for receiving wires. I'll stop by my bank and see what they think. Thanks!
