We are a small bank and our Cashier wants to move a proof machine and operator over to our off-site motor bank (located four blocks away) to help expedite daily work and also this person would help balance their main cash vault and the ATM in her spare time. Is this really a secure thing to do? I have bad thoughts about it. Does anyone else allow this type of processing setup?

Don't see anything unusual - in many of our facilities, our tellers are also proof operators. The only thing that they can't do is proof their own work, or transactions of any family members. Audit dept does spot checks.
