What is the difference between loan rescheduling and loan restructuring?
One definition is "A bank loan which was restructured, usually by lengthening the maturity, in order to avoid default." This can happen when there is a problem being able to pay according to the original repayment agreement. Because the new terms will have to be documented, new papers will have to be drawn and executed. Some may define this as a restructuring as well.
