Buying Out Other Beneficiaries

My father and my aunt inherited my granpparents' property. My aunt wants to sell and my father wants to keep it. My father is retired, on social security. Can we (his children) co-sign on a loan so that my father can buy out my aunt on this property?

If you have a lender, certainly. It depends on how much is being borrowed, the current value of the property, the collateral for the loan, the borrower's qualifications, etc.
