Will it ever be possible in the next two years that someone who is self-employed can get a mortgage?
There is no reason that an individual who is self-employed should not be able to get approval for a mortgage loan, provided that he or she can document regular reliable income, and assuming that other factors affecting creditworthiness (payment history, for example) are positive. Lenders will require different forms of income verification from self-employed individuals.
