Getting a Credit Report for the Deceased

I have reason to believe that my brother is using my deceased father's name to obtain credit cards. How can I have a credit report done for my father to see if this is happening?

You cannot obtain a credit report for your late father. You can talk to a bank or other company that you think may have issued a card. Identify yourself and give your reason for wanting to discuss the matter, then provide as much identifying information as you can about your father, as well as your brother's name and address, and let the card issuer take it from there. If it determines that it issued a card to an identity thief, it can take whatever steps it considers necessary to protect its interests and those of your father's estate. Stealing a deceased parent's name is just as illegal as stealing someone else's.
