Finding Fraudulent Checking Accounts

Is there any way that I can find out if there are fraudulent checking accounts set up with my identity?

The best thing you can do is to closely monitor your credit reports. There are three major credit reporting agencies that operate on a nationwide basis. You are able to request a free report, once per year, from each. Order one every four months, rotating the agency from which you request it.

There is no need to pay for an additional credit monitoring service in order to receive a free report. The Federal Trade Commission has a lot of good information on this topic. To request a free report, they recommend AnnualCreditReport.com.
