Transferring Ownership of Father’s House to Me

Is there any way my father can give or transfer his house to me? His health and mental health are failing and I hate to see him lose his house. He owns it. No mortgage.

You'll need to convince your father that transferring ownership to you would be the best thing to do. Because your father may be in failing physical and/or mental health, you'd be wise to discuss your concerns with an elder law attorney -- a lawyer with particular expertise in estate planning, real estate law, Medicare and Medicaid laws and regulations, and the particular legal challenges involved with elderly clients.
