My bank made me a loan, but did not live up to its obligations as stated in their written agreement. To whom do I report this misrepresentation?
You could report this to the bank's regulatory agency, but it sounds as though you believe you have a contractual matter. This is more a state law issue. If you failed to meet your agreement, the bank would consult an attorney and sue you for performance. You have the same remedy available.
This would be an unusual situation. Because of this, speak with a senior officer at the bank first, to be clear as to what you thought their obligation was, and why they've not met that obligation. Then you also have a clear fact scenario to provide to your attorney, if the matter isn't resolved directly with the bank.
