Using Whole Life Insurance Policy as Collateral

Can I use fully paid up whole life insurance policies as collateral for a personal loan? I pay no premiums on these policies.

As long as your policy has sufficient cash value, many lenders will accept it as collateral on a loan. Not all may do this, so call in advance. They may also be interested in the company with which you have your policy.
