Transferring Stock Shares as Custodian

As a custodian, can I transfer stock shares out of my child's account? Is it legal?

It sounds as though you are referring to an account established under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act on behalf of your child. As custodian, you control the account, and you can move property in an out if your actions are taken on behalf of your child. If you are concerned about a specific transaction (whether it would be considered on behalf of the child), seek legal advice.
