Bank Freezes Account of Three Year Old!

Can a bank freeze a three year old's bank account?

Yes, the bank is most commonly executing a legal court order when this happens, and while it may be a child's account, an adult is often on it, and the adult is the real subject of the legal action. It is not uncommon for an adult to hide funds in a child's account, but when that adult is an owner of the account, the funds are deemed to be his/hers as well. All of the funds are deemed his/hers; however, in some cases, people have been successful in going to court and proving that the funds are in fact owned by the child, were gifts, income earned from employment, etc.
