I sent a money order to pay my bill. The dealer from whom I bought my car said he did not get my payment. The 1-800 number I called on the back of the money order is not answered. What can I do?
See if you can find an internet website for the company that issued the money order, not the local outlet. You may find a better contact telephone number there. If that doesn't work, check with the outlet where you obtained the money order to inquire about contacting the issuer.
Be sure to keep the auto dealer informed about your efforts. He will, of course, only wait so long before you will have to show proof that you made the payment or provide a second money order.
