I was told that for a certain transaction I need a Medallion stamp so as to certify my document, but not only do I not know what this is, but I don't know where to get one and nobody seems to be able to give me an answer. Can you help?
Call your bank, or other banks in the area, and ask if they participate in the Medallion program. This "certification or verification" is often needed when dealing with a stock certificate.
