Need Bank Auditor's Name

I recently asked a question regarding misrepresentation by my bank. I asked for the agency that audits banks. Your response was for me to contact an attorney. I've talked to many attorneys. None will accept the case because of conflict of interest issues. I'd like that agency name that audits banks in Arkansas.

If it is a state bank, it will be your state banking agency. It could also be the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for a national banks, the Federal Reserve, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp, the Office of Thrift Supervision or the National Credit Union Assoc.

You can ask the bank if you aren't sure, or if they are FDIC insured look them up on the FDIC's website. Although delayed, if you contact the wrong agency, they'll hand it off to the correct agency. Each has a website and if you search for "reporting problems" or "ombudsman" you'll find where you can submit a complaint. Many take them over the web.
