My husband went into his Oklahoma bank over the weekend and was told that there is an Oklahoma law that prohibits him from removing his mother from his account unless she is deceased. I can not locate any such law, is this true?
We are not expert in the laws of individual states. Your husband should ask whoever he spoke to at the bank specifically which law is involved. If he needs assistance in understanding the applicability of the law, he should obtain legal advice for someone with expertise in Oklahoma laws.
