I recently opened an account and had deposited money in it when the bank suddenly closed it. They said that I had too many inquiries with Chexsystems. What can I do regarding this issue?
Contact the bank to ask what it meant by "too many inquiries". Have you been attempting to open accounts at a number of banks recently? The bank may have seen a lot of inquiries and become concerned that there was something wrong.
If there's a logical explanation for the activity, discuss it with the bank in the hope it will change its decision. If there's no change, you'll have to locate another bank.
