Time Limit on Funds Transfer

We sent a fund transfer several years ago to the bank, but the money was never deducted from our account. Is there a time frame in which this money must be deducted?

Not really. While it should happen almost immediately, the bank may have made an error. If they find it, they will likely want the money back. If this was several years ago, the chances of that are slim.

You could leave the funds in your account, just in case, or contact the bank and tell them about it. Depending on the amount, they may not investigate it as records are harder and harder to find and investigate as time goes by. This is an alternative to having this "hanging over you" until the end of time. At least you would have it resolved once and for all. Let us know what they say if you contact them about it.
