I received six traveler's checks in the amount of $6,000. I took them to the bank and they said that after they send them to the institution from which they are drawn, they would deposit them into my account. This was three weeks ago. How long will it be before the money is in my account? I live in Georgia and the checks are from New York.
Three weeks seems a bit long. If you haven't received the funds by the end of four weeks, ask your bank to trace their collection letter.
