My internet banking works with a money management program. What are the advantages of using that?
Depending on the internet banking software, it can make life easier. Instead of having to do all your banking transfers while online, some can be done in the software on your PC. Scheduling bill payments is one area this can work in. It can be easier working in the screens you are familiar with and if the bank changes the layout, you don't have to worry about that. Sometimes this reduces mistakes on scheduling when a bill is paid. A common feature though is the ability to download your statement directly into your Microsoft Money or Quicken program. In addition, this can tie several of your online accounts together into your single program. You may also be able to tie your brokerage accounts directly into this as well.
