There Must Be a Simpler Way!
I use personal finance software and my bank's online banking program, which includes bill payment. I've been paying bills using the bank's system and then recording them on my PC each week. Is there a way to make this more efficient?

 You will like a feature that a lot of banks offer with their online banking/bill payment systems. Many of these systems allow you to integrate their functions with personal finance software. The process of signing up for this integration varies from bank to bank. Look for a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) or Help page on the bank's web site, or call the bank's online banking help desk for guidance. In many cases you'll be able to record payments in your personal finance software and then upload those instructions to the bank's system. Making the entry once is the way to go!
