Can Bank Help With Autosavings?

My mother is on a fixed income. Her check is automatically deposited in the middle of the month, but most of her expenditures (rent, bills, etc.) are at the beginning of the month. Is there a way to make sure that enough money remains for rent or is there a way to get an advance on the check?

If "her check" refers to a Social Security or other government recurring payment, or a retirement plan payment, there won't be any way to obtain an advance. Your mother should discuss the timing challenge with the people to whom she owes money. Perhaps her landlord will agree to accept payments in the middle of the month, instead of on the first. The same request could be made of her other creditors, such as utility companies. If the creditors aren't willing to change the due dates of your mother's payments, our only other suggestion is to find a way to pay some of the bills early (when her check arrives).
