I am getting a large life insurance payout($40,000) and am afraid to deposit the check in my checking account. I have a judgement against me. Can they find out my bank account information on their own and freeze this deposit?

If you have a legal judgment against you, many investigators do have ways to find out where you bank. Some methods are more precise than others and some are hit or miss, but yes, if they know where you bank, the court may garnish your account for what is owed.
Rather than be frightened and try to calculate ways to hide your money, work with whomever you have the debt and offer to set up a payment arrangement, or agree on a lump sum payment, perhaps discounted from the current debt. Then you can pay this off and move forward.
