Joint Account and a POA

I have a joint checking account with an aunt. Her social security check goes in as a direct deposit. Can someone with power of attorney over her finances have access to this?

Assuming that the power of attorney has language authorizing the management of deposit accounts, as might be expected if the attorney in fact is authorized to oversee her finances, that person would ordinarily be able to have authorized access to the checking account, acting on your aunt's behalf.
