Power of POA after Death

I am on the receiving end of a civil lawsuit from the executor of a good friend's estate for whom I was POA. They claim that money was never deposited into her accounts. Since she is deceased, and my POA is therefore terminated, can I get anything from the bank to prove that I deposited the funds?

It may be necessary for your attorney or the court to subpoena records from the bank as evidence to support your actions. Published on BankingQuestions.com 5/30/08
