I have a savings account with one of the private banks, which was a salary account of mine from when I used to work with that bank. When I left the job, I found that my account was frozen, and I cannot withdraw the money. It has almost been five years now and they are still sending me the account statement about my credit balance. How long can they keep my account in this condition?

This seems very odd. Have you asked why the account is frozen? You haven't indicated this. Until you know why, you won't be able to act to have the funds released.
