Retrieving Funds Stolen by Ex-Wife

My ex-husband and I had two children together and I am the custodial parent. He has to pay child support and asked if he could put a third of the child support into a savings account for the children. I agreed, and his new wife opened the accounts on my children's behalf as a place to put the child support payments. They recently had a divorce, and he asked her to turn the accounts over to his name but she refused.

My ex-husband went to the bank with my children and their information to close the account and open a new one, but his ex-wife had already closed them and took the money. Is there anything that we can do to get the money bank? How should we go about trying to get the money back?

The bank appears to have done everything by the book. This is a matter between your ex-husband and his second wife. He should talk to his divorce attorney about it.
