My mother purchased money orders for her bills on the second, and she died on the third, leaving her money orders with the bills. Her grandson deposited the money orders in his account at the same bank. I paid her bills and went to the bank to track the money orders, but my nephew is best friends with the president of the bank, who said that there is nothing I can do about it. These money orders were made out to businesses and he deposited them with their signing. Is there something I can do?
If you are the legal representative of the estate, and you believe there was fraud and theft on the part of the grandson, we recommend action with the police, through an attorney, or directly with the grandson, to recover the value of the money orders.
