I have received a couple of e-mails from overseas telling that I have won UK/European online banking lottery. The so-called amount is huge. Kindly tell me the authenticity of these online banking system, especially the GCB (Global CitiBank UK).

In the first case, the scam is designed to steal your identity or gain access to your accounts. In the latter case, it's designed to stick you with a bogus check, but only after the crooks have cashed your taxes check and spent their ill-gotten gains.
