I am on active duty in the military and my house was just foreclosed on this past May. I just recently found out about the SCRA and I was wondering what type of lawyer can I speak with about this situation besides a JAG. My mortgage company did not ask about me being active. I have sent them information that proves that I was on active duty and away from at the time.

They should have checked your military status. That doesn't mean the database was current, however. Your first stop should be JAG. Ask them for any recommendations. Next, call local attorneys who are familiar with the SCRA and the rights you have. You may find leads on the internet for this as well.
