It's easy to find what you're looking for on BankingQuestions.com!
On the left side of each page, you'll find a complete navigational menu. From it, you can reach any section within the site.
Our articles and Q&As are divided into eight main subject areas:
Accounts
Checks/Money Orders
Lending
Manage Your Money
My bank said ...
Safe Deposit Boxes and
Scams/Fraud
Special Situations
There are thirty-six different subcategories scattered among the eight subject areas, ranging from Checking Accounts, including Checks You Wrote and Checks You Received, to Managing Your Money, ID Theft and questions about Scams, Fraud and Forgery. Click on a main content link to see the articles that relate to the top-level subject (such as accounts), or drill down, using the cascading menus, to specific subcategories.
The Ask a Banker feature is where you go to submit your own questions. While the volume of inquiries prevents us from being able to answer each one, we will consider each one carefully and answer those that time permits. Check back on the site to see if your question is one we're featuring.
In addition to Ask a Banker, you also have the option of posting your questions to our BankingQuestions.com Discussions Board. There we have a panel of banking experts serving as moderators who will be monitoring the posts and responding.
The Banking Blog is the spot where we write about what's on our mind, whether it's the "Scam of the Week" or a new banking regulation that will impact you.
As you read our articles and Q&As, you'll notice that banking has its own special jargon, with lots of unique words and terms. Our Banking Lingo page provides a detailed glossary, and within the articles and Q&As, we've linked special terms and phrases to that glossary to make it easy for you to understand the words in context.
Our Banking Tools page features tons of interactive calculators to help you balance your checkbook, calculate the payoff time for your credit cards, analyze whether it's better to rent or buy, and much more. These tools will assist you in making prudent financial decisions.
On our Multimedia page, you'll find Podcasts to listen to, videos to watch, and PowerPoint presentations to view. We'll cross-reference each one on the relevant content page, too, so you can easily find them. We've added a little dash of humor with our original banking-themed cartoons, too.
Look on our Resources page for things like our collection of sample phishing emails, fake lottery winner notifications and other scams, plus we link you to the best Internet pages from the Federal Reserve, FDIC, Federal Trade Commission and other entities on subjects of vital interest.
Each page has a graphic at the top to indicate which section you are within. As you drill down into subcategories, you'll see "bread crumbs" at the top that show the path you've taken, such as:
Home >> Accounts >> Checking Accounts
When you are within any of the main content sections or subsections, you'll also see a colored menu on the right side with quick-click buttons to that content section or any of its subsections.
Our search feature is powered by Google. Type in what you're looking for and click the "Google Search" button.
