Changing Names on Items in Trust

Deceased family member's assets were in a trust upon death. The three successor co-trustees are liquidating municipal bonds and need to deposit the associated dividend check that were issued in the old trust name. How can these checks be deposited in a new trust name? What banks allow three signatories for disbursement checks of estate/trust?

Unless the trustees can arrange to have the dividend checks reissued payable to the new trust, they will have to be deposited to an account in the old trust's name, from which a check can be issued to the new trust. As for your last question, it cannot be answered without contacting banks the trustees might consider doing business with and asking direct questions. It does not make sense spending a lot of time in the preliminary processes of opening a bank account if a basic problem such as having three trustees will be a deal breaker.
