Disbursing Trust Monies

I recently became the successor trustee for my deceased aunt. How should a checking account for disbursement of trust monies be titled?

The account should be titled in the name of the trust, and the bank should require that you, as trustee, provide the trust's Employer Identification Number (obtained from the IRS) as part of the account opening or maintenance process.
