Trust Fund Benefits Reported to IRS?

I'm eighteen and receiving payments from a trust fund. Does the bank report the amount to the IRS?

The bank into which you deposit those payments won't report them. However, the trustee who makes the payments will be obliged to file an annual report of trust income. You'll receive a copy, along with instructions on how to use the information on the report in filing your annual tax return.
