Setting Up a Living Trust

I set up a living trust as a business money market because it uses an EIN and not the personal SSN. Did I do it correctly?


A living trust may have to have an EIN for a number of reasons that might not make it eligible for use of a grantor's Social Security number. None of those reasons is necessarily a reason to treat the trust as a business.
